HM&P attends the Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2024 in Hanoi for the second time

Continuing the series of global technology events, on August 15th, the Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2024 (“CDC 2024”) was successfully held in Hanoi. HM&P’s Managing Partner, Lawyer Nguyen Van Phuc, attended the conference alongside nearly 700 speakers and guests from the technology and legal sectors.

CDC 2024 brought together leading experts in the field of Cloud & Datacenter, where they shared and discussed the latest trends and solutions, as well as provided updates on national cybersecurity issues in Vietnam.

Experts highlighted that Vietnam is gradually affirming its position in the data center sector, with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City playing key roles in attracting top technology investors and businesses. This development has opened up numerous new opportunities for the cloud computing and data center markets in Vietnam. Amidst the rapid digital transformation in Vietnam and the significant increase in internet users, cybersecurity has become a hot topic, drawing unprecedented attention. In recent times, the government has made key decisions to protect and strengthen national cybersecurity, as well as safeguard personal and business data.

Through the expert insights shared at CDC 2024, the conference provided organizations, businesses, and government agencies with valuable legal perspectives on cybersecurity in the technology sector. It also offered a platform for stakeholders to discuss and exchange solutions to support Vietnam’s development during this era of digital transformation.
